since the emergence of internet, things have been improving on a fast track and
the easiest way to get information is through internet beating already exist
Radio, Newspaper and TV in breaking news. From just normal reading news on your
phone, the internet have seems to cajole and captivate our attention by giving
us what we can call online TV.</div>

Most media houses build on this to sell their products to
their audience by providing them with videos they can stream online for
informative, educative and entertaining issues going on across the globe but not
all the media houses use this medium to carry out their objectives. Naijabase
carried out interview to seek people’s opinion and aired their views about
online television, majorly about the ones to make fun of people on net. Let’s
see what few people have to say about Online TV such as Naij TV, Pulse TV,
Naijaloaded TV amongst others.</div>

It’s one of the best thing one could imagine that has
happened to us because it gives people the ability to express themselves with

wish I could come across them one day and do the same.</div>

Am happy because it’s a good thing you know sometimes when I
have enough data on my phone and i don’t even know what to do with it, I
quickly go to Facebook and see if I can see any funny videos that online TV
such as pulse and co upload then I will watch it. To me they are not doing us
any harm but making us laugh off pressure, he concluded.</div>

Let me be frank with you I don’t like the idea and the
reason being is that they are just fond of making jest of people they ask
questions and to them they are enjoying the way they run it, I have a grudge
against them and I wanted to see them badly so that I can tell them what’s on
my mind.</div>

and I was taught that media aim is to help develop the society in which they operate,
but the case of online TV is different because the ways they portrays our
people out there to viewers is just as a way of downgrading the people of this

I can’t really say maybe it’s a good idea or the other way
round because have come across them once in front of my school University of
Ibadan and they stopped me to asked few questions which I answered them
correctly but what I just reason is that these people are actually out there to
look for people’s mistakes and I think that is what they will upload for other
people to see and laugh because they keep pressing until I got a question wrong
which I beg to put off the camera. </div>

To me I enjoy watching it and I think in this present
situation of the country, recession and other issues we are currently facing,
watching stuffs like that ease you of anything bothering your mind at that

However, people will have different views about this issue based on
their perspectives, no matter how it seems Online TV has come to stay but I want

It has come to the level where one of the thing i can call refreshment those days is now but a food you need to take wih full satisfaction without hesitation.<br />
I remembered vividly when i was young to have noticed that cassava flakes which is popularly called garri in my area is known to be refreshment while waiting for normal food like rice and beans to ready for us to fill our stomach.<br />
With a pity heart and the level of suffering and smilling country of nigeria today, this stuff has now turned the way round by producing a massive hike in price to demolish our desire of calling it a refreshment rather take it as a food to hold on to for hours.<br />
With the present economic recession in the country,  a lot of goods have moved up from their normal price and this has also affect my local refreshment when i was young from the rate of #5 to #50 and the question now is,  are we just going to watch how our local refreshment slip away in front of us.<br />
Nigerians let us wake up because 100 naira is not enough for me to drink garri anymore,  i don't know about you my brothers and sisters.<br />

The Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Benin Zonal Network, has unveiled a new television series titled “100 ways to win a husband.”</div>

It said the television series would be styled like the famous “Hotel D Jordan.”</div>

The Zonal Director of NTA, Mrs. Pulled Igbanon, said the television series produced in collaboration with a private consortium was aimed at addressing issues of marital breakup, promoting moral values and help youths discover their talents.</div>

Human Rights lawyer and activist, Festus Keyamo, has lauded the whistleblowing policy of the Federal Government as an effective tool in tackling corruption.<br />
Keyamo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos, that the various revelations about money stashed in some places were the positive effect of the whistle blowing and that Nigerian will witness more shocking cases.<br />
“People are now ready to blow whistle, the populace now have confidence in assisting the government to fight corruption through whistleblowing.<br />
“The war against corruption which seemed to be lost is now turning back to a win situation and revival for the country. The only warning is that we are not yet there but we have taken a huge step forward.<br />
“Whistleblowing is very good and everybody is now a watchdog. I commend the policy, a situation whereby everybody can raise alarm and also alert the Economic Financial and Crime Commission (EFCC).<br />
“We are gradually winning but we are not there yet as there are many things to be done in this regard,’’ he said.<br />
Keyamo said that though whistleblowing had recorded some success stories, there must be deligent investigation before trial in court to forestall loss of corruption cases.<br />
“The second part of the anti-corruption fight is that we must strengthen the arm of prosecution if we don’t want corruption cases as an exercise in futility.<br />
“The investigative part of the alleged crime must be diligent so that by the time people are taken to court, the case is solid enough and it will be easy for the prosecution to do the job.<br />
“In most cases, by the time the case gets to the prosecutor, the case is hazardly done. But on the other way round, investigation should have been properly carried out and prosecutor will do his part.<br />
“Investigation must be thorough before it gets to the prosecutors, it is important that investigations are well sorted out so that the prosecution becomes easy,’’ he said.              NAN

IPOB stated that all Biafrans, no matter the states they were located, must honour and remember the heroes and heroines of the 1967 to 1970 Nigeria-Biafra war.<br />

In a statement by the Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, the group said while there would be no human and vehicular movement in Biafra land, Biafrans in Diaspora would take to the streets of their respective countries of residents around in peaceful procession.<br />
“We, members of IPOB and our leadership worldwide would like to restate once again to the people of Biafra that all the states in Biafran land, must shut down on May 30, 2017 in honour and remembrance of heroes and heroines who laid down their lives during the genocidal war against the people of Biafra between 1967 and 1970.<br />
<br />
“The people of Otukpo, Idoma and Igede in Benue State, Igala in Kogi State, Igbanke in Edo State, Calaber, Yanegua, Warri, Uyo, Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Abuja etc, will shut down on that day for the 50th anniversary of the declaration by Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and his second in command, late Major General Philip Effiong of the Independent State of Biafra on May 30, 1967.<br />
<br />
“Also, those who paid ultimate sacrifice in the battle field and protests in our land that this present generation might live will be honoured and remembered, including those massacred in Asaba in 1968.<br />
“They will be honoured with a two-minute silence at 12 noon.<br />
<br />
“We expect every man, woman, child and businesses to observe this great annual event by staying at home and never involve in any business activity on that day.<br />
<br />
“There will be no movement in Biafra land both human and vehicular while Biafrans in diaspora will take to the streets of their respective countries of residents around the globe.<br />

“That will be the least we can do to show them and God Almighty ‘Chukwu Okike Abiama’ that this generation of IPOB and those to come will remain indebted to them that gave their lives to stop the elimination of Biafrans from the face of the earth.”<br />
The statement further said special prayers would be offered in Okikirka Grammar School in Ijawland, the home town of late Chief Frank Opigo “who, by the divine inspiration advised the supreme leader and Commander in Chief of the Biafran Armed Forces, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and members of Eastern Consultative Assembly that our God given name is Biafra.<br />

<strong>Manchester United have revealed that former striker Andrew Cole has undergone a kidney transplant operation.</strong><br />
The club released a statement saying that the Champions League winner would be taking a break from his role as United ambassador as a result during his recuperation.<br />
The operation was part of Cole’s treatment for a condition called Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis.<br />
The statement said: “Manchester United Ambassador, Andrew Cole has undergone a kidney transplant operation at Manchester Royal Infirmary as part of his treatment for a condition called Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis.<br />
“During his recuperation Andrew will be taking a break from his role as Manchester United Ambassador.<br />
“Andrew and his family would like to thank the club and fans for their support and request that he can continue with his treatment in private and ask that their privacy is respected.”<br />

Recently, the Senate decided not to screen the 27 nominees for Resident Electoral Commission (REC) sent by the President until their decision of replacing Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu is adhered to. Magu, was rejected by the Senate for the second time despite re-nomination by President Muhammadu Buhari.</div>

Melaye was investigated after after a certain online publication said he didn’t graduate from Ahmadu Bello University, a claim the Vice Chancellor of the institution has refuted. Saraki’s issue had to do with the importation of an SUV without paying customs duties; however, the ex-Governor has said the Senate (and not himself) was responsible for the importation.</div>

trying to overtake the other fuel tanker. Both tankers had a side-swept impact,

intervention of the men of the fire service saved the second tanker but the

offload the content of the saved tanker, because it was already leaking, due to

The #TurkishAirlinesHelpSomalia campaign was immediately noticed and followed closely by our Directorate, and within the hour we had contacted Jerome by telephone. Turkish Airlines has worked with the popular French YouTuber in previous years on past digital projects.</div>

The team of 6 had a network of more than 10 million followers and a primary purpose to raise social awareness globally, with their supporters snowballing in a few days to generate 1.3 billion potential views around the world.</div>
