TWCI launch”leadpreneur” initiative

The world changers youth initiative (TWCI) led by Mrs
Yetunde Adekunle has launched a youth empowerment program tagged “leadpreneur”
which helps young entrepreneurs survive the first five years of their business
in other to move to a sustainable level to retain their brand in market.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The program which took place at Capdan Secretariat behind
computer village Ikeja Lagos, feature guests such as Mr Clement Oladipupo,
CEO of LIFEPAGE Group, Mrs Oladoyin Taiwo, CEO of profit with Doyin and Iyore Ogbuigwe, speaking on different topics such as “the art of leadership, emotional
intelligence, corporate governance in business amongst others.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The national president of the organization Mrs Adekunle said
the idea is to influence fellow youths into a positive lifestyle and with the
organization five areas of influence such as educational sector, political
sector, media and entertainment sector, religious sector and lastly business
and economy sector they aimed at achieving that by camping out different
projects in those areas.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Furthermore, she calls on the youth to always prepare themselves
and be ready to be world changers in the five areas of influence.<br />
The impact of the lecture was immediately felt in the mind of the youths as
they turn out in mass to volunteer themselves in moving the society forward in
positive light.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
TWCI is a group of youth over 200 volunteers across Africa,
which sole aim is to influence fellow youths into a positive lifestyle for a
greater society and also to build a breed without greed, she added.</div>

Naira Gains, Dollar Crashes At Parallel Market

This follows report that the local currency closed the day at N385 to the Dollar, one point stronger than the N386 it closed on<strong> Tuesday, May 16.</strong><br />

However, the local currency weakened against the Pound Sterling but stayed firm against the Euro at the same segment.<br />

It dropped seven points against the Pound to close at N497 as against
 the previous rate of N490, but closed at N420 per Euro as it was 
yesterday, May 16.<br />

The recent development comes on the heels of report that the<strong> Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)</strong> on Monday, May 15, injected <strong>$457.3 million</strong> into various segments of the foreign exchange market.<br />

The CBN also disclosed that the Investors and Exporters (I&E) 
foreign exchange window has so far attracted $600 million from 
autonomous sources and from the apex bank.<br />

this medium to inform all its subscribers that it has not increased the prices

Naira lost more ground to the dollar at the parallel market on 
Tuesday, despite intervention of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).<br />

Naira traded at 410 to the dollar at the parallel market, from about 
405 at the close of business on Monday. The British pound and euro 
traded at N490 and N430 respectively.<br />

At the official side of the market, the naira also exchanged at 306 to the greenback.<br />

On Monday, the CBN opened a new foreign exchange window for small and
 medium enterprises (SMEs) to received as much as $20,000 per quarter 
for import of eligible finished or semi-finished items.<br />

The apex bank also auctioned $100 million to authorised dealers at the interbank wholesale window.<br />

Isaac Okorafor, the bank’s spokesman, said the sum of $99,544,417.45 
was picked up by dealers out of the $100 million offered by the Bank 
during the last wholesale auction on April 6, 2017.

Secondly, moral standard is also paramount because we only accommodate youth with good reputations, wherein the nearest future we will be bold enough to say this is one of our member representing the society. Against this backdrop, morality is one of the criteria for becoming a member.</div>

Also, in the educational system, we had a lot of campaign of lecturer sleeping with students to give them a good grade, students offering money to the lecturer to influence their performance.</div>

Similarly, Mrs Oladoyin Taiwo will be speaking on brand strategy. The program will host over one hundred young entrepreneurs and we hope to get a good response after the programme. And I also foresee that in the nearest future, the government will partner with us to achieve a major goal, beckon to us to bring candidates and staff to represent the country. 24 hours after the CBN directive to Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) in the country
to sell foreign exchange obtained from it to retail end-users at not more than
N360 to a dollar for invisibles such as school fees and medicals.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

of Corporate Communications, Isaac Okorafor in a statement, said that the CBN,
under the new policy, will sell forex to the licensed BDCs at the rate of N360
while they will in turn sell to customers at a rate not more than N362 to a
dollar.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

objective of the new forex sale policy was to ensure a convergence of the rates

transparency in the market as well as fairness to end-users, many of who
hitherto experienced challenges in accessing foreign exchange.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
